Got the transponder interface harness and the RF cable built. I’m getting better at this cable business. I’ve got a spot less than eight inches from the antenna to mount the transponder, so losses should be minimal, even with the piece of less-than-stellar coax I was able to find in my shop. The transponder is yet another one of those “if you hook the power up backwards, you let the very expensive magic smoke out” kinds of boxes. Oh goody. Note to self: triple check the pinout before closing the breaker on this one.
